We improved the iEAT Robot

The iEAT Robot has been available for over 2 years and it has been performing excellent and is helping people with eating independently. But we are not easily satisfied at Assistive Innovations. We received feedback from customers, used it to complement our personal wishlist. We took our wishlist and got to work, the end result is a new and improved version of the iEAT Robot.

We streamlined the look and appearance of the iEAT Robot, making the base of the iEAT look more elegant. Looks might matter, but not as much as what is on the inside.

What did we improve:

• The iEAT Robot is more compact and it has less loose parts.
• We integrated a rechargable battery, which means the iEAT can be used several days without recharging.
• The dome of the iEAT Robot now has a LED-indicator, increasing visibility of visual feedback by the iEAT.
• The control application has been simplyfied. For example: settings can now by adjusted through sliders.
